Biography



Studied Art at Colorado State University from 1966 to 1967.

Studied Art Wayne State University from 1967 to 1968.

Arts Students League printmaking with Seong Moy and Dr. Beverly Hale Life Drawing.

Moved to Hawaii in 1976, studied lithography with James Koga for three years.

Enhanced printmaking skills with Dodie Warren starting in 1983 at Honolulu Academy of Arts. 

Became Dodie Warren's assistant in 1991.

Took over Dodie Warren's class in 2003.

Left Honolulu in 2012 and started volunteering at The City of Irvine Fine Arts Center in their Open Studio program for Printmakers.

Group show and solo show awards in Hawaii:

2003 Estate of James Cambell Award.

2005 Pegge Hopper Gallery Award.

2006 Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and Arts Award.

❤ 2007 Luminous Lint Contemporary Photogravure Show.

❤ 2011 "Etched In Light, 20 Years of Photo Intaglio".

Including numerous awards at the juried shows of the Honolulu Printmakers.
